Most stone basins are made of granite, marble, onyx, travertine and sandstone.
Stone sinks are almost indestructible. They are heat resistant and are very strong and therefore will not chip or crack easily.
Natural stone can be highly polished producing an almost mirror finish, or they can be polished to produce a beautiful satin lustre.
BENEFITS OF NATURAL STONE
• Absolutely beautiful colours and patterns
• Heat and chip resistant
• Most stone types are stain, scratch and chemical resistant.
CARING FOR NATURAL STONE
• Wash with warm, mild soapy water.
• Wipe regularly after use with a soft cloth to reduce the build up of soap scum and mineral scale.
• Clean regularly with a marble, granite or sandstone cleaner.
• Natural stone will need to be sealed and should be resealed every year or so.
• Never use cleaning products that contain acids, they will easily damage and scratch the basins surface.
