BASIN OVERFLOW

The basin overflow is a hole on the inside of the bowl that takes water direct to the waste when it fills over this level.

They are designed to reduce the chance of the basin overflowing due to the tap being left on and the plug being left in.

Basin overflows will generally have a decorative cover on them, either being a chrome ring or button.

If choosing a basin with an overflow you must ensure the plug and waste is suitable for overflow basins.
