CHOOSING A SPOUT

When renovating a bathroom, there will be instances where a spout will need to be purchased separately.

Spouts come in many shapes, sizes and for many applications. From large ornate spouts for Spa baths, to sleek minimalist spouts for baths or basins.

Depending on your bathroom design there is a spout to suit your needs.

SPOUT TYPES

BASIN SPOUTS. Many modern bathroom designs call for tapware to be mounted from the wall leaving the bench and basin top clear from clutter. Wall mounting basin tapware is also a great alternative for countertop vessel basins without a tap landing, where the only other option is a tower basin mixer.

Basin spouts can be coupled with a shower mixer to create a wall basin mixer set, or be coupled with conventional wall taps. Basin spout shapes will generally be square or round tubular minimalist designs.

Basin spouts must be flow restricted in compliance with WELS regulations.

BATH/ SPA SPOUTS can be wall or hob mounted. Bath spouts do not need to be flow restricted and therefore are available in more elaborate designs. Bath spouts are available as minimalist designs as with basin spouts, and also as a large waterfall or cascade spout where the water flows out of the spout in a wide sheet pattern. Hob spa spouts can be large ornate gooseneck styles which can really make a statement.
